CONSCIOUSNESS~The quality or state of being aware especially of something within oneself.
~ The state of being characterized by sensation, emotion, volition and thought.
“Everything in the “physical world” is made up out if atoms. Atoms are made out of energy. And energy is made out of consciousness.” ~ The Answer
“Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it can be transferred and transformed.”
“We humans can project our energy by focusing our attention in the desired direction…’Where attention goes, energy flows’…influencing other energy systems (people, animals, plants, things) and increasing the pace of ‘coincidences’ in our lives.” ~ James Redfield
Coincidence – Occurrence of events that happen at the same time by accident but seem to have some connection; of similar nature; Harmonious.
Coincidences are sign posts along your path. They occur more often when you are participating or aware of The Flow of life, in The Zone, Connected, Energized, Positively Vibrating, or a State of Grace.
Our ability to access this State of Grace:
1) Occurs only in the present moment
2) Is dependent on the quality of your thought(s) – Loving, Joyful, Compassionate, Peaceful, Self-Assured, to name a few seem to be connected to a State of Grace.
3) Is influenced by your physical condition – caring for your body – will yield to more positive thoughts (see #2).
4) We need to be AWARE of our connection to our Source Energy or Life Force.
5) Communication – you are the vehicle in which you experience life – use your voice (internally, externally) and ask for what you need or want.
Meditation is one of the greatest means to achieving this State of Grace.
By focusing on your completeness, your wholeness and surrendering to this abundance, you will be flooded with everything that reflects that Totality – that perfection.
Our consciousness is made up of our mind, body and spirit. Our minds include the simplicity of our “egos”, which have been compared to a terrible-two year olds mentality. And they include the eternal, endless possibility of the realm of Pure Consciousness – where our Source of Energy comes from.
Our goal with meditation is to tap into that realm – where anything is possible and you are complete, and come back to our everyday consciousness with a fully charged battery.
We will be equipped with everything imaginable to live our best lives.
Breathing techniques
Deep belly breathing, single nostril inhales, exhales
Mindfulness / Grace Visualisation Meditation
Begin this meditation practice by doing a series of deep inhalations and exhalations. Breathe in deeply through your nose expanding your lungs and your belly, holding your breath for three counts and exhaling completely out of your mouth. Please repeat this five times.
Now allow your breathing to return to a normal, gentle, rhythmic pace. Continue to be aware of your breath as it simmers down. Let go of all judgments, let go of all to-dos, and just breathe.
Allow yourself to be aware of the sensations in your body in this moment. Notice the presence of your head as it connects to your neck. Breathe and be aware of this part of your body. Notice your shoulders and how they connect to your arms and your arms to your hands and finger tips. Take this moment to reflect on these parts of your body. Notice your torso – your chest as you breathe in and out your back your stomach, bring your awareness to these areas. Bring your awareness to your pelvic region and how it connects to your torso and your legs. Breathe and feel. Focus on your legs, your knees, your ankles, your feet, your toes. Take this moment to reflect on the sensation of these body parts.
With your mind’s eye:
Imagine a star filled sky in the middle of a mountain valley where a beautiful river runs through. The only sound you hear is the zipping of the wind, and the gently rolling river. The stars reflect on the placid areas on the river and doubles the beauty of the eternal sky….
From this state of grace ask yourself if there is anything specific I need to learn at this time…Something may reveal itself or may not…just surrender to whatever the moment is offering you.
Take this time to meditate on your own…
This blog is for all of the ideas that come to me that are worthy of sharing.

"The Butterfly Effect"
Today I received a piece of wisdom through an email message sent to me regarding the notion of "the butterfly effect". The idea is that every experience, or every moment, has equal value. There is just as much value in your encounter with your grocery clerk as your encounter with your family member. It is hard to grasp the two moments being equal, except for when you recognize that in each moment YOU are still graced with LIFE. And if you view each moment as a link to the next, the quality of each link effects the quality of the next. This does not mean that you have to be "on your game" each moment. It probably means that the loving-kindness and compassion that you express each chance that you take, will expand the quality of all your experiences. It brings up your overall vibration to a higher level of existence. I truly believe that loving-kindness,compassion, acceptance, service, and so on are all as powerful on a small scale as on a larger one. And it is demonstrated beautifully through this "butterfly effect" - or the ripple effect. A "small" gesture can vibrate onward to yield much larger vibrations. We should try to remember to not have any prejudices with whom we express loving-kindness and compassion. And always remember to begin with ourself. Imagine all of the ripples you will witness after experiencing a loving gesture. They are endless...

The Joy of Being = A Being of Joy
I love when my daughter Maddie sings "I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, down in my heart, down in my heart..." :) She repeats that chorus over and over, and it reminds me of how pure children are; they are so much closer than us to Joy because they have not yet been corrupted by the negative influences in life. So far she seems like a tough cookie, though. She seems like she could look straight into the eyes of Fear and say "Oh yeah, well God is bigger than the boogey man, he's bigger than Godzilla and the monster's on TV" (another one of her favorite songs :)
I hope that her disposition is in part due to her personality and her upbringing :)
Her innate sense of Joy is something to admire. And when she is in a fit of rage, that passes within minutes. She does not hold grudges. It really is amazing to witness.
I on the other hand have a hard time shedding the anger and bitterness when it comes on. Perhaps if I actually slowed down long enough to let the feeling pass, acknowledge what stirred it up and move on, I could get back to the Joy in my heart. It seems like the bitterness can become habitual (maybe worse than smoking).
The concept of the "quality" of our inner being has been everywhere for me in the last several days. Eckhart Tolle posted on Facebook: "When your life situation is all you know about yourself then you miss life. You may be very good at dealing with your life situation, but you miss life. You never really get anywhere. Life is now, not in the doing." This was telling me that we are not our life situations, we just ARE. I AM. We each are eternal beings that are made of PURE ENERGY, and this energy is made up of Love, Peace, Joy (these are mere words to describe something so DIVINE).
This idea of just "Being" is not supported very well at this stage in our human evolution. It seems like everywhere we look there is some source of media telling us how we should look, or how we should act or if you don't have this ______(fill in blank) then you will not be enough. Well the longer I live the more I realize that they are all LIES! And I say that with all the motherly love I have for our collective "teenager" consciousness :)
So how do we attempt to rise above all of the bombarding global media gone wild? JOY.
Abraham-Hicks, is one of the greatest sources of wisdom that I have discovered and they speak about Joy so simply: "There is not one other reason for life than joy. We've got nothing to prove to anyone, because nobody other than All-That-Is is watching. In other words, we're not trying to get brownie points from some other galaxy. We're not trying to get someplace else; we're not trying to get it done, because there is no ending—we cannot get it done. Everything exists for the purpose of joy in the moment."
I hope you share the JOY in this blogpost with me. I need the reminder more than ever to stay focused on the JOY available in every moment. In every encounter try to seek out the thing that evokes the JOY in you. Even when you are at the dentist getting your teeth cleaned and the sharp tool is scraping in between your teeth, say to yourself - I am grateful that I am here caring for my teeth, and that this person cares enough to clean my teeth so thoroughly. (did this today) Consider the collective care of this hygienist and your Being that cared enough to have clean, healthy teeth. You can apply this to everything. Even when you have a disagreement with someone. You may say, there is Joy in diversity - there is Joy in the growth that may result from a new point of view. There is Joy in making up.
I hope to witness Joy in every moment that I can stay present to. And share this wish for everyone.

Life as a Mirror
This is my first blog post :) The desire to write down what is rolling around in my head arrived this morning spontaneously. And after a night of refreshing sleep and lovely cup of coffee this morning, it really seemed like something worth pursuing and easy enough to do.
So, I have been reminded of this idea of "Life as a Mirror" lately, and I had a moment of clarity about it in my collective mind/body/spirit. This mirror works with the "Law of Attraction", which seems to have been referenced a million and one times these last few years. We attract every situation, person, thing, we encounter in our lives. The most interesting thing to me about these encounters is that they match how we perceive ourselves or how we feel about ourselves on the inside. I realized today that when I feel left out of a group, or I try to say hello to someone and they don't really awknowledge me, it has really bothered me. So my "AHA" observation today is that I am not meant to have an experience with this group or this person yet or ever. Wow!!!! What a relief and release of feeling "less than worthy". This notion, if I can hold on to it - will keep me from playing "victim" once again to not feeling "cool enough" or wondering why I don't fit in.
The contrast to the above observation is that there are people that have came into my life that I have great admiration for and wish I could be more like. I have often experienced feelings that I am not worthy to be as great as them. Well - here is the "AHA" with this contrast - I have attracted these people in my life, so that I can admire them and strive to be as amazing as them in my own way. This is how I feel about myself deep down - I have that kind of amazing within me. Once again this sets me free from comparison. Because the amazing ideas that come to each of us are one-of-a-kind. No idea can be truly replicated. The ideas that come forth are immersed with your very own life's DNA.
These two great AHA notions give me an "out" when the victim feelings begin to come up. Some people are not on my life's radar, in other words, we have no necessary exchanges to accomplish. And some people are on my radar because they reflect my innermost longings for my life. Instead of envying them, I should appreciate what they evoke in me. And realize that that is life mirroring the degree of greatness that I am capable of.
These powerful observations allow me to add a few more paint strokes to the life masterpiece that I am creating. As I clear away some of the stagnant, incorrect thinking that has possessed me, I will instead allow the flow of IN-SPIR-ATION to possess me. ~
